A standard 50-minute psychology consultation is $240.
If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $101.55 per session. This means your out-of-pocket (gap) fee is $138.45.
If you have private health insurance with extras cover for psychology, you may also be eligible to claim a rebate through your health fund. Please check with your insurer regarding your level of cover and eligibility.
Please note that Medicare and private health insurance cannot both be claimed for the same consultation.

The first few sessions are an opportunity for us to get to know each other and understand what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant background, and what you would like to work towards. We will also begin to identify initial goals and outline a treatment plan.
-
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% fee, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 100% fee.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and in some situations, fees may be waived at the clinician’s discretion.
-
There is no specific preparation required before your first session. It can be helpful to think about what has brought you to therapy, any current concerns, and what you would like support with.
Prior to your appointment, you will also be asked to complete intake and consent forms. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or referral letter, please send this through prior to your session if possible.
-
We do not offer bulk-billing sessions.
However, we are committed to making therapy as accessible as possible. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available for clients experiencing financial hardship, depending on current availability. Please get in touch to discuss this further if needed.
